Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data PaisaPolicy.in collects, why, who we share it with, and the rights you have under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it. We collect only what we need to respond to your enquiry.

1. Who is responsible for your data

To be updated, A-126, Vipul World, Sector 48, Gurugram, Haryana 122018, is the Data Fiduciary for personal data collected through this Website.

2. What we collect

  • Details you enter: your name, mobile number and the product you are interested in.
  • Details you share during a consultation (only if you choose to): such as age or date of birth, city, income, vehicle details, family members to be covered, or health information needed for an insurance quote. Health and financial details are used only for the quote or application you request.
  • Technical and campaign data: the page you submitted from, the referring website, campaign tags (such as utm_source, utm_campaign), the ad platform that brought you to us, your IP address (used to prevent spam and abuse) and basic browser information.
  • Call records: calls may be recorded for quality, training and compliance; you will be told at the start of the call.

3. Why we use it

  • To call or message you about the insurance or loan product you asked about, and share quotes.
  • To pass your request to the insurer, IRDAI-registered intermediary or lender who will issue the product.
  • To help with renewals, servicing and claims for products bought through us, if you ask.
  • To measure which ads and pages work, and to prevent fraud and spam.
  • To meet legal and regulatory obligations, including those of IRDAI, RBI and tax authorities.

We process your data on the basis of your consent, given when you submit the form, and, where the law allows, for legitimate uses such as complying with legal obligations.

4. Who we share it with

  • Insurers, intermediaries and lenders relevant to your request, only to the extent needed to give you a quote, issue a product or service it.
  • Service providers who process data on our behalf under contract: website hosting, database (Supabase), office tools (Google Workspace), calling/SMS/WhatsApp providers, and analytics and advertising platforms (such as Google and Meta) when enabled.
  • Authorities when required by law, court order or a regulator.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with unrelated marketing companies.

5. Where your data is stored

Our service providers may store data on servers in India or other countries. Where data is transferred outside India, we do so only as permitted under Indian law and with providers that protect it with appropriate safeguards.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your data only as long as needed for the purpose you gave it for. Enquiries that do not lead to a policy or loan are deleted or anonymised within 12 months of your last interaction, unless you ask us to delete them sooner or the law requires us to keep them longer. Records linked to policies or loans are kept for the period required by IRDAI, RBI and other laws.

7. How we protect it

Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. Access to stored data is restricted to authorised staff, and our database uses row-level access controls. No system is completely secure; if a data breach affects you, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board of India as required by law.

8. Cookies and tracking

We use your browser's session storage to remember which campaign brought you to the Website. If enabled, we also use Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta Pixel to measure visits and form submissions. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and manage ad personalisation in your Google and Meta account settings. Blocking them does not stop the Website from working.

9. Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • give you a summary of the personal data we hold about you and who we have shared it with;
  • correct, complete or update it;
  • erase it, where we no longer need it or are not required by law to keep it;
  • stop using it by withdrawing your consent (this does not affect processing already done);
  • nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity; and
  • resolve any grievance about how we handle your data.

Email support@paisapolicy.in from your registered mobile's owner or quote your mobile number so we can verify you. We respond within the time limits set by law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

10. Children

The Website is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Details of children (for example for a child plan or family health cover) are provided by their parent or guardian.
